My name is Candice Guillaudeu and I'm starting a loosely based organization called
Initiative for Sustainable Business Practices in Loudoun County Va.
I have been reading, learning and participating where I can in the wonderful activities by LCCSS and by CCAN, while working full time as a software support person. I was born in
D.C., grew up in Fairfax County and truly appreciate Virginia and all it has to offer. I like analyzing business processes, have a keen interest in green building and of course in
current technologies. I have also recently passed the Green Advantage Residential Exam.
With this initial listing, I want to show the existence of a green economy within Loudoun County. One thing I do hope is that not only can we enhance and promote a local green
economy, but also that we can influence change in policies for the better within Loudoun County Virginia.
Not only do I anticipate publicizing Loudoun County green businesses, but at the same time I also anticipate learning a great deal about what local green businesses need from
our local government. In the process of highlighting LC green businesses, maybe together we can also help LC government update its policies so that they're more conducive to
environmentally friendly processes.
This will not be an adversarial organization, it is meant to help both green businesses and Loudoun County.
